Winter Fashion Trends: 2017

Velvet, oversized coats, and feminine sweaters–this season is all about looking your best while feeling your best. As your personal style gurus, we pulled together five of our favorite winter fashion trends that we’ve been seeing this season. Check out these absolute must-haves for your wardrobe this winter!

1. All the Touchy-Feely Things

Velvet, corduroy, sherpa…These fabrics are popping up in winter fashion trends everywhere. Anything ultra-soft and cozy is in right now and we couldn’t be loving it more. It’s finally acceptable to wear blanket-like materials in public.

2. Raiding Your Boyfriend’s Closet

We’re seeing a lot of masculine fits and styles with a feminine touch. Some fashion trends to look out for this winter: boyfriend jeans with some floral embroidery, boxy button ups paired with a tulle skirt, or masculine shapes with some statement accessories. Also, keep an eye out for dress jackets with a waistline and graphic tees.

3. Big and Bulky Outerwear

As the weather gets colder, we’re seeing some definite winter fashion trends with coats: the bigger, the better. Big puffy coats and loose fits with room for layering are the way to go this season. Plus all that extra fabric will keep you that much warmer.

4. Sparkle and Shine

Our personal favorite of the winter fashion trends: anything sparkly! Sequins, jewels, and metallic fabrics are the way to stand out and make a statement this winter. Add some sparkle to your day in your outfits, accessories, shoes, makeup, or hair.
