On top of that you need to find that perfect mom of the bride dress that both fits in with the wedding colors but also makes you feel beautiful and confident!

Finding and Picking Out That Perfect Dress

You may be asking yourself, what is the mom of the bride even supposed to wear?

What color do you wear? 

What style do you wear?

There are so many questions to be asked when finding this dress!

First up, I would communicate with the bride, she may have a certain color and style she would want you to wear.

The mom of the bride will usually wear a dress that is along the color scheme of the wedding party. But not necessarily the exact same. 

You would want a color and style unique to you that shows that you are the mom of the bride, not the aunt or the bridesmaid! 

Avoid at all costs wearing the color white, that is for the bride and the bride only unless she says otherwise! 

Also depending on the venue and weather of the wedding you will either want a longer dress or a shorter dress with length and the sleeves! 

Don't go to extreme and bold with your dress as it is a day for the bride, so keep your dress simple with the style and color the bride wants!
