Pastels are cuter, more accomplished neutrals.
So, as surprised as you might be, bright colors actually workwith pastels.
Imagine you wearing your new lavender dress with your brightred heels.
Wow.
Who knew that could look SO good!
Bright colors will make that pastel color pop like there's no tomorrow!
Be careful though, this is a bold look!
Okay this one is pretty obvious, but neutrals look great with pastels.
Like they do with pretty much everything else.
But they work extrawell with your favorite pastels.
I don't need to explain much here, just get your neutrals on!
Sandals, booties, flats, heels, any of these go great with lavender dress.
Picking the right shoes is crucialto complete an outfit!
Have a lavender dress? It's time for a purple pair of shoes!
But definitely don't get monochromes that clash.
You'll know if they clash cause it will just feelwrong.
And trust me, some monochrome attempts dofeel wrong.
But if you keep your colors with the same feel–pastels stick with pastels–then you'll probably stay in good territory.
A secret of pastels: they all enjoy each other's company.
Pastels love to be worn together and that means you can mix and match some of your favorite pastel colors!
That's great news!
And yes, most colors work: pastel yellows, purples, blues, pinks, greens.
Just remember, if it feels wrong, you can always do trial and error.
But if you need to get it right on the first try, go for a pastel that is more on the opposite end of the color wheel.
Yellow, for example, is the exact opposite of purple. So yellow works great.
