    1. Wear Your Usual Outfits Just A Little Differently

Try tying up your shirt or cuffing the sleeves, even adding the jacket that you're usually hesitant to throw on! Small changes like this can instantly boost your outfits, bringing them from usual and boring to a little more interesting to look at.

    2. Add Accessories

Accessories can bring an outfit from boring to trendy and stylish. Big and bold is trendy right now, so if that's something you're into but afraid to try it out, I encourage you to just go for it. Accessories can take some time to get used to if you're someone who doesn't usually accessorize, so give yourself time to get used to it. You're outfits will be amazing with a pair of bold earrings and a cute handbag!

    3. Try Pairing Things Together You Haven't Before

Look in your closet and put together some of the outfits you usually wear. Now try to find pieces that you've never worn together before and make them work! Pair different prints and colors that you initially wouldn't think to pair together. I promise it will look great. Fashion is about breaking the rules and wearing what you want!

    4. Personalize Your Pieces

A great hack for creating a new wardrobe without going on an expensive shopping spree is to personalize the clothing you already have! That hair scarf you have stored in your bathroom somewhere? That would make a gorgeous summer crop top. Those denim jeans that cut at an unflattering ankle length? Cut them into shorts! Small changes like these will make you feel refreshed and fashionable without breaking the bank. My personal favorite way to change up old clothes is by dying them! Grab a bottle of Rit Dye from your local fabric store and follow the directions on the label. You'll come out of it with a not-so-brand new clothing item in your favorite color!

    5. Add Confidence To Your Outfit - It Goes A Long Way!

Whatever you're wardrobe looks like right now - wether it's your dream wardrobe or you're just working with what you've got - a little bit of confidence is the greatest accessory you can add to your outfit. Even if you're not feeling it sometimes, just fake it till you make it!

We hope this guide helped you think of ways to switch up your style with pieces you already have! How will you switch up your style after reading this? Let us know in the comments below!
