The first official day of summer is coming up! This year especially, I think we all have a renewed sense of wanderlust, so if you plan to spend this summer making the most of it, then make the most of it in style! Here is Bella Ella's guide to creating cute, comfortable, and trendy summer outfits to stay cool and make a statement this summer.
1. A well-fitting, flowy dress can go a long way during the summer. The key is to find a shape that you feel really comfortable in. Sometimes that means a t-shirt dress, other times a sleeveless mini dress. Whatever your preference, treat yourself to a truly perfect dress. Go to your favorite clothing store and try on multiple different shapes and styles of dresses. If you find a shape that you love, maybe purchase a few dresses in the same shape to have multiple options! Pair them with sneakers to create a more casual look, or summery heels/sandals to look a little more dressed up. You can wear a casual flowy dress just about anywhere during the summer months - on a shopping trip, to the beach as a swimsuit coverup, or out to a fancy dinner date. Just switch up your accessories to completely change the outfit without actually changing.
2. A graphic tee is a summer must-have! You can pair a fun graphic tee with a flowy maxi skirt to dress it up a little bit, or dress it down with denim shorts for a more casual summer outfit. This is the perfect outfit for a mid-day picnic or day at an amusement park. Graphic tees are so comfy that you'll be happy in your outfit all day. Pair it with some fun sunglasses to make a statement this summer.
3. Speaking of denim shorts, a comfortable pair is a necessity this summer. KanCans are our favorite, but you can go for whatever brand or style you like. A light or medium wash is best so you can pair them with anything! This longer pair is the perfect length to stay cool but feel a little more covered. Pair your denim shorts with a comfortable pair of neutral sneakers and any fun top you choose to have the perfect summer outfit!
4. Two-Piece Sets were so trendy last summer, almost as trendy as biker shorts. Take these trends a step further with a two-piece biker short set! These make for such a good summer outfit.
